3. goodbye - alicia keys
4. have it all - foo fighters
5. forever - united live
6. break our hearts - passion
7. killing time - joss stone
8. values with purpose - tony read (heh a sermon!)
9. winter wonderland - harry connick jr.
10. dumb - garbage

so what's shuffling on your ipod?

*this was not what i intended*
no i had a whole different sort of post in mind that has been brewing for several weeks now. just waiting for the right time, and enough time, to let it out. but i came across this and had to share it.

sometimes, living in hong kong "the world city" means that you miss out on some things that happen that are not 'world news' worthy. i was browsing some of the new fandangled friendster blogs and came across this on an american's blog:

apparently in georgia (deep american south) a man escaped while on trial for rape and killed the courtroom judge, and a couple of guards, as well as an immigration officer, before kidnapping a widow mom in her apartment and keeping her hostage. this lady tried to make a connection with the killer and started telling him about her 5-year-old daughter, and how her husband was stabbed a few years ago and died in her arms. she then asked if she could read, and started reading from the bible and 'the purpose driven life' by rick warren. it's quite an astonishing story. she eventually gained his trust enough that he let her go out to visit her daughter, and then she eventually called 911 and he was finally caught after a 26-hour manhunt.

here are the links to the CNN story, as well as the interview with rick warren after the ordeal:

rick warren interview

rick had the daunting task of coming up against larry king and the rare task to share the truth to masses of non-christians. i was amazed. God works in strange ways that we can understand, and He can get himself the publicity and no human pr firm could. he's just cool like that. if i keep going i'll start preaching and ruin my next post. so i'm going to save it.

by the way, i'll be in davao, philippines from march 24-28. no rebel muslim prison riots can stop us now.... pray for us please.
