i don't like updating when i haven't had enough time to sit and think about what i have to say... but here it is anyway, since there might be lots of people out wondering what the heck is going on with me.

so wedding plans are humming along, despite a few major coughing fits along the way. the messed up invitations got fixed, we got new envelopes, we've finally confirmed a photographer, my mother IS coming (along with my ex-step-brother...), and koryl is out of the hospital and will arrive next week. my parents and brother and sister arrived last night and in the 5 years since i've seen my brother, he grew about 4 feet.... seriously. i don't know how he managed a 14 hour trans-pacific flight in economy class... geez. our friend mark arrives this week, my friend and photographer sandra comes next monday, my mom and koryl next wednesday, and arlene and jr on friday..... wooohoOOOO

so the countdown has begun: 11 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in 13 days we'll be on a plane getting far far away from everyone and everything! well not really that far away but far enough.

i've moved into our new flat, and trying to get it sorted out before derek moves all his stuff in. it's fun, but a bit harsh on our already-dwindling bank accounts. on a positive, note along with my parents coming to hk i received a nice little buttload of cash from my relatives in canada.

ok. there you go people. my update. it's boring as, but it should be sufficient until after the wedding and hillsong. don't expect another one for at least 2 months!! hehee
